A minimum balance of £1 is required to open the account.

You must give 35 days notice before you can access funds from your account.
3. How is the 35 day notice period calculated ?
The notice period is based on calendar days and begins the day we receive your withdrawal request. If you initiate transaction on non-business day, the notice period will start from next business day.
4. What happens to my funds at the end of 35 Days notice period ?
Your money will be transferred to your SBI UK Instant Access savings Account/current account on the expiry of the notice date, which must be a business day, if the notice period is ending on non-business day, the transfer will be done on next business day, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
5. How can I add funds to my 35 Days Notice Savings Account ?
You can add fund to your 35 Days Notice Savings Account by visiting any SBI UK branch, by cheque or by transferring money from another account with us or another provider.
6. When will I receive the interest payment ?
Interest is paid on the last working day of the month.
7. How many 35 Days Notice Savings Account can I have ?
Only one 35 Days’ Notice Account can be opened by an Individual/ Business.
8. Can I open 35 Days Notice Savings Account Jointly ?
No, 35 Days Savings Account is offered as a sole account only
9. What happens if I don’t use my 35 Days Notice Savings Account ?
SBI UK reserves the right to close your account if the balance in the account falls below £1 AND there has been no transaction in the account for 24 months or more. We would give you a 60-Day Notice before doing this.
10. How can I close my 35 Days Notice Savings Account ?
You need to visit the nearest SBI UK branch in order to close your account. Account closure is subject to terms and conditions of the bank.
