Dear Customer

Temporary Closure of Golders Green Branch - Update

Further to our recent notice concerning the upcoming refurbishment of our Golders Green branch, we are now in a position to confirm that these works will commence on 29th December 2021 and will last approximately 10-12 weeks.

The branch will need to close whilst the works are ongoing and staff will be posted at both our City of London and our Harrow branches. As the works near completion, as soon as we are able to confirm the precise re-opening date, we will advise you again and place an updated notice on our website.

City of London branch is located at 15 King Street, London EC2V 8EA. We will be redirecting our Golders Green telephone lines and mail to the City of London branch so you can continue to use the same contact details, including e-mail.

As an alternative, you may find our Harrow branch more convenient, located at 1-9 St Ann's Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 1AP.

In addition, the following mobile telephone numbers will be available for you to use:-

  • Samuel Vickers, Area Branch  Manager, Phone No, 07584 880565
  • Bishwaraj Shil, Assistant Branch  Manager, Phone No. 07506 642572
  • The following numbers will also enable you to contact the Personal Bankers for the duration of the works:-
    • 07500 555274
    • 07500 556052

Whilst the works are on-going, customers holding Safe Deposit Lockers, will unfortunately not be able to access these facilities, although appropriate security protocols will be in place to protect your valuables at all times. As such, we strongly recommend that you make suitable plans to access your lockers before the branch closes, should you anticipate any need for access.

During this time, you can of course visit any of our other branches, where our staff will be pleased to help you. With our YONO Mobile Banking App, you can link your SBI India accounts, open Flexi-ISAs, make INR remittances to India at better rates, make UK payments, update your contact details, and order & block debit cards. You can also withdraw cash at any UK ATM and access your accounts via Internet Banking and our 24/7 contact centre.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter and regret the inconvenience this may cause you. However, we can assure you that the improvements in the branch layout, including more lockers and customer consultation areas are aimed to provide a much improved experience to our valued customers.

Yours sincerely

Stephen Banks
